North East Nigeria: COVID-19 Point of Entry Dashboard 72 (25 September – 01 October 2021) – Nigeria

OVERVIEW During the COVID-19 pandemic, IOM’s Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM), in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), monitors the movements to and from Nigeria’s Adamawa and Borno States in the North East Nigeria. Assessments are conducted at Points of Entry located along the border with Cameroon.

During the period 25 September – 01 October 2021, 290 movements were observed at three Points of Entry in Borno state. Of the total movements recorded, 93 were incoming from the Far North Region in Cameroon. Additionally, 197 outgoing movements were recorded from Borno State to the Far North Region in Cameroon.

Of the total movements recorded, 101 were incoming from Cameroon’s Far North Region and 28 incoming from Ndjamena in Chad, while 135 were outgoing from Borno State to Cameroon‘s Far North Region.

During the period 01 – 31 May 2021, 1,565 movements were observed at four Points of Entry in Borno state. Of the total movements recorded, 706 were incoming from the Far North Region in Cameroon. Additionally, 859 outgoing movements were recorded from Borno State to the Far North Region in Cameroon.

Car into Fox Point building, no injuries

Scene at CVS on Port Washington Road in Fox Point.

Officials are responding to a call of a car into a building near Port Washington Road and Brown Deer Road Monday afternoon. 

According to police, the driver was attempting to park the car in the parking lot and got the gas pedal and brake pedal confused causing the car to crash into the building. 

No injuries to the driver or anyone in the store. 

The building is being secured by CVS at this time.
