Family members remember loved ones lost in deadly crash on Hwy 41

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – Evansville Police say the driver of the pick-up truck involved in a deadly crash Monday on Highway 41 will be charged with three counts of reckless homicide.

They say 42-year-old Damon Busby, of Henderson, ran a red light at Riverside Drive and was speeding when he crashed into the back of an SUV that was stopped at Highway 41 and Covert intersection.

Ferrari discover that Leclerc’s engine was ‘irreparably damaged’ in the multi-car crash in Hungary

Leclerc was one of several drivers who crashed out on the opening lap of the Hungarian Grand Prix

Ferrari have discovered that Charles Leclerc’s power-unit was “irreparably damaged” in the first-corner pile-up at the Hungarian Grand Prix.

Leclerc was hit from behind by Lance Stroll’s Aston Martin, becoming one of several drivers to retire at the first corner.

Drivers are restricted to three power-units over the course of the 2021 season.

Going over the limit automatically incurs a 10-place grid penalty.

Galax first responders find engine 40 feet away from car, no driver at scene of Monday crash

GALAX, Va. (WFXR) — First responders from Galax had quite a shock Monday night when they arrived at the scene of a “violent” crash and found an engine completely separated from the vehicle, but no driver.

According to the , crews were dispatched to the single-vehicle crash at Pipers Gap and Shepherds Place at approximately 9:45 p.m. on Monday, July 5.

The shocking pictures shared by the department on Facebook show the vehicle completely totaled. In addition, crews reportedly found the engine 40 feet away from the vehicle.

Car rolls into oncoming traffic during crash on I-17 in Phoenix

PHOENIX — The southbound lanes of I-17 have reopened since a crash involving multiple cars in Phoenix sent one vehicle onto oncoming traffic on the highway.

The first collision happened at the intersection of I-17 and Indian School Road and caused one of the two vehicles to roll over into southbound traffic, DPS said. 

The crash included five vehicles. One vehicle caught fire, officials said.

An 18-year-old girl was transported to the hospital in critical condition. A man was also transported, but officials said that he is currently stable.

Tesla owner in fiery Texas crash was initially driving car

The owner of a Tesla Inc. Model S that slammed into a tree last month, who died along with a passenger, was behind the wheel when the car left his house shortly before the crash.

Tesla Model S in Crash Couldn’t Have Been Using Autopilot

  • The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) has released a preliminary report in its investigation into the fatal crash of a Tesla Model S in April near Houston.

Emergency workers had to cut drivers out of their vehicles after three-car crash in Mansfield

Emergency workers were called to the A60 junction with Leeming Lane, between Mansfield Woodhouse and Spion Kop at around 11am on February 25 after a road traffic collision involving three cars.

The road was initially closed in both directions, as fire and rescue workers cut open the top of one vehicle involved in the crash to free passengers trapped inside, but it was reopened at 1pm.

Two people were taken to hospital but in a tweet, group manager at Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service Matt Reavill said “thankfully casualties conditions don’t appear too serious at this time”.
