COVID Cases, Hospitalizations Rising, While Vaccinations Plateau in New Dashboard

Now that the state has a COVID-19 dashboard again, Nebraskans can see how the pandemic has ramped up since it’s early summer lull.

Cases and hospitalizations are rising, while vaccinations have plateaued. As of Monday, the 7-day average of daily cases stands at 526, according to the dashboard. That figure will likely grow as the Nebraska Dept. of Health and Human Services counts all the tests over the next week.

Des Moines Public Schools COVID-19 dashboard provides update on cases

Des Moines Public Schools has tracked 85 positive cases of COVID-19 among its staff and students — including 23 new cases Monday, according to the district’s new coronavirus dashboard.

The dashboard will be updated daily using self-reported data from staff and families.

As of Monday, 40 staff members and 45 students have tested positive. That includes 15 elementary school, 12 middle school and 17 high school students.

State COVID-19 dashboard update shows no increase in cases or deaths | Coronavirus

The state Department of Health’s midday Sunday COVID-19 dashboard update showed no increase in cases or deaths.

It has been more than a month since state officials provided weekend updates beyond updating statistics on its dashboard. The dashboard also showed no change in hospitalizations.

New infections from the novel coronavirus have been trending up. In the previous five days, the state averaged 369 new cases per day, including 425 on July 15, the largest increase since June 15. The state averaged 201 new cases per day from June 13 through July 12.

VDH unveils dashboard to show results of COVID cases by vaccination status

RICHMOND, Va. (WDBJ/VDH Release) – The Virginia Department of Health COVID-19 in Virginia dashboards now include information on the number of COVID-19 cases, hospitalizations and deaths by vaccination status.
