Vaccination rates among adults 50 and older increased in the Peace Region, although Peace River North still has the lowest vaccination rate in the province at 62 per cent. Fort Nelson and Peace River South regions both are at 62 per cent.

Vaccination rates among adults 18 and over in the Peace Region are the lowest in the province. As of June 1st, Peace River North’s 18+ vaccination rate sits at 44 per cent, Peace River South sits at 48 per cent, and Fort Nelson’s rate is 50 per cent.

Newly added to the surveillance dashboard is the vaccination rate among British Columbians 12 and older. The Northeast portion of the province has the lowest rate of vaccination for residents 12 and older. Peace River North has given at least 1 dose to 41 per cent of the eligible population, while Peace River South and Fort Nelson each have 45 per cent coverage.
