  • A video posted to YouTube by CorvetteBlogger.com shows Chevy testing upcoming mid-engine C8 Corvette prototypes alongside a Ferrari 458 Italia and a Porsche 911 GT2 RS.
  • We suspect that both the Z06 and ZR1 (center exhaust) models are seen here.

    2022 Chevy Corvette Will Add Three Hot New Colors

    • The 2022 Chevrolet Corvette will be offered in three new colors: Amplify Orange, Caffeine, and Hypersonic Gray.
    • The mid-engine C8 Corvette is powered by a 490-hp 6.2-liter V-8.
    • Orders for the 2022 model will open in early July.

      Chevrolet added two new exterior color choices—Red Mist and Silver Flare—to the mid-engine C8 Corvette for the 2021 model year and made it $1000 more expensive. Now the Corvette will get three new colors for 2022, its third model year with the engine mounted behind the cockpit.
